The client: 
A world-class tourism consultancy specializing in destination management and marketing.

 

I was contracted as a marketing specialist to
work alongside other specialist consultants on
a project for the Ministry of Commerce &
Ministry of Tourism of a middle eastern country.

 

The outcome:
A 2-year high level marketing strategy and
ready-to-roll-out action plan, designed to 
increase tourism and generate business investment in the region. 

The deliverables:

  • SWOT analysis of the strategic position

  • Development of a brand positioning and messaging framework  - that unified the business and leisure agendas

  • A detailed marketing activity plan that harnessed the full marketing mix; from outdoor advertising, to experiential events and social media

  • Resources, budgets, measureables and timelines for each strand of activity
